Happy Holidays and Manager Position is Filled!

I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday. These brief respites are critical to the existential well-being of the farmer. Celia has been talking about this break for months now...and here it is. So no more farm talk for a few days.

We owe a huge thank you to our crew at the farm. They are all unbelievable. We had a big BBQ feast the other night (thanks Chuck at Pulaski Heights), and it was great to see the crew out on the town with family. Martin, Adan, Edwin, Ana, Orlando, Jenny, the entire farmers market crew (too many to mention), Mike and the mechanic / greenhouse recovering crew, delivery drivers -- we thank you so much for one of our best years yet. We have the most professional, knowledgeable, and kind group of people, and we feel thankful to know them all.

Please note that we have filled our manager position. Thank you for all of your inquiries. I wish I had time to write everyone individually, since I know what it takes to get an application together. Thank you. We will be officially welcoming our new manager in the new year. We are very excited, and she will fit right in.

NEW MARKET NEWS!

Also, we had our last market at Morningside Market. We are really going to miss all the kind people there very much. But we are excited to be working on a new farmers' market at the Carter Center in Atlanta beginning SATURDAY March 1, 2014, 9:00 - 1:00. This will be the first opening of Freedom Farmers' Market -- and will host a fine group of about a dozen local artisans and farmers, and most will be certified organic. We will have some really fine vendors, and we can't wait to announce who will be there....coming soon.
