HAKUREI TURNIP SAUTÈ

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 bunch Hakurei turnips, sliced (greens included)

  • 1 tbsp butter or olive oil

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • 1 tsp soy sauce or miso paste

  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Heat butter or oil in a pan over medium heat.

  2. Add sliced turnips and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

  4. Stir in turnip greens and soy sauce, cooking until greens wilt.

  5. Season with salt and pepper, then serve warm with a garnish of sesame seeds.

TIP
Try adding a squeeze of lemon for extra brightness!
