May 9, 2014- Heirlooms!

The tomatoes are coming in, crops are growing, and the sun (has been) shining. So that starts the season off with a flutter. This is the time of year when you cast off the winter spells and move in to the frenetic spring - summer. Which, in Georgia, is a meld. It goes from cool the hot, and the work from steady to keep-your-head-above-water! But the change is a routine around here, and as busy as we get, there is a method to it all, thanks to many years working the same turns of seasons. But it never gets old. Sometimes we walk through the packing house and see the perfect bin, ready for market. Always a fun surprise and inspiration.
