Cost of Produce Box

The weekly price of the produce box will be between $25.00 and $30.00 per week, payable every four weeks, in advance.  Checks are accepted and there will be a bank envelope at the White’s house for collection, or we will take payment at the farm. We also have a Paypal link on our website.

Eggs and Flowers

In addition, members may sign up to add flowers ($8 / week) or eggs ($6 / dozen / week) to their subscription box, in advance. Please indicate in your renewal if you would like to add either flower or egg shares.

Other Details

Please make sure to check off your name on the list when you pick up your box, and when you make payment. This helps us sort out missed boxes. Please return your empty boxes the following week so we can re-use.

The reason we fluctuate the price is to give us some flexibility to add variety and quantity during our most productive months, and we think this variety really adds to the program.  While we usually know generally when that will be, we are weather dependent.

If you are headed out of town and do not want your box one week, please let us know so we may donate your produce. Or, feel free to ask a friend or a neighbor to pick up for you. If a friend picks up your box on a payment day, please let us know if we should expect payment on your behalf from someone else so we can correctly credit your payment.

Missed or canceled produce boxes shall not be refunded or credited from month to month, except in unusual circumstances. Please do not sign up for our produce box if you cannot remain in the program throughout the season. We have detailed planting plans to accommodate each member.

We appreciate your support very much. Please do not hesitate to call if you have any questions throughout the season, and all suggestions are always welcome. I hope to see you soon at the pick up locations! If you would like to come visit the farm, just contact me.

Sincerely,

John Cooper and Celia Barss
